Randolph - 5 Almost nothing to do the whole game but when called upon twice in the 2nd half made a hash of things. I guess we can put that down to nerves.
Page - 7 Transformed his u21 promise to the first team stage. Big ask to break into the first team squad with Hendrie and Cresswell but showed all he's every chance
Tomkins - 7 Will have enjoyed captaining the side and was simply to good for the Andorra forward
Burke - 8 (Man of the match) A real highlight of the night, looked composed in defence, on the ball and even in attack
O'brien - 6 A steady performance but not a real option for the PL at right back
Oxford - 6 History may have weighed heavy on his young shoulders and started nervy but grew into the game and play some lovely passes. It's clear to see this lad is destined for the very top.
Poyet - 7 Really enjoyed his performance, played the ball well and moved about the pitch with ease. Encouraging stuff
Amalfitano - 6 Doesn't really do it for me when he starts, should have been more of a threat but did set up a goal
Jarvis - 6 Another that really needed to show more against such a poor side
Zarate - 7 Not been his biggest fan but look dangerous running at the Andorra midfield and defence, set up Sakho nicely
Sakho - 7 Guilty of a couple of early misses but plundered two goals but will be kicking himself he didn't at least get a hatrick
Cullen - 7 Wanted to see him start and didn't let anyone down when he came on, good passing, movement and tried to drive the team when they had all but given up late on
Lee - 6 Would have liked to have seen him get a goal against such a weak side
Parfitt-Williams - 5 Struggled to get involved in a real meaningful manner but a talent none the less

I thought Jarvis did well, time and time again he beat his man and got a cross in. Poyet I thought was too deep and his passing in the first half was awful time and time again. Zarate was the best player on the pitch when he was not sulking and although Sakho got 2 goals it was clear he was very unfit. I thought Randolph was terrible, flapped twice when the ball came into the boss and was very indecisive another time and their player would have carried on his run instead of stopping he probably would have scored.

I really appreciate someone at the game giving player ratings for them that couldn't get there. It takes a brave man to do it , and Roe's done it. Well done son. More please from now on.

A piece of advice for the season ahead: I assume you are rating players 0 or 1 to 10. Feel free to use the entire range.

It's all personal opinion and I'm amazed how we see things differently. I like Croe as he has been known to buy the beers but only on one occasion iirc and turns up week in week out! I didn't go so cannot comment but I'm very happy that players given a game who wouldn't have under the fat cunt and Poyet I believe could turn into a top player if handled correctly,Im not sure on either keeper we have and that IMHO will be the one place that will cost us! Onwards and upwards. Ironssssss

Brian Dear is a great man and a gentleman, he has been fucked up to many times, even had his ECWC medal nicked from his Pub.
A true WHU legend

I don't think Brian Dear was much of a sprinter unless it was getting to the bar before it closed

big arse usually indicates big glute muscles, which are mostly responsible for sprinting speed.

Brian Dear had a MASSIVE arse and holds the record for the quickest ever five goals in an English game, 20 minutes either side of half time, in a home tie against West Brom on 16 April 1965.
He could also sink 5 pints in the same amount of time

Fordstar told me he was gutted that Noble wasn't playing, as he had no one to slag off as a result. Of course he has already decided that Oxford is overhyped & average at best. He clearly has far more knowledge than Bilic & all the coaching staff. What a shame he didn't apply for the Managers position!

Yeah, I agree, it would be good to make this a regular thing from 'roe - obviously wouldn't have worked last year with his inexplicable refusal to recognise how shit we were under Allardyce.
I pretty much agree with the ratings here, but thought Oxford deserved a 7.
